If it is well-designed and well-written, you will have a system that fits your business processes precisely. This translates into simplicity, user-friendliness and efficiency. For example, a timesheet system would be designed to record time in the way that you require.

It also provides you with long-term  flexibility, and the ability to potentially integrate seamlessly with other systems.

In many areas (but not all) the cost of a bespoke system can compare favourably with off-the-shelf packages. You do not, for example, pay more for extra users, and little training if any is required.

Because you would become part of a relatively small client list, rather than part of a huge customer list for a package, you can expect a highly personal and responsive level of support. Finally, GRH provides you with joint copyright, so you retain long term control over your own software.

Our Development Process

We undertake two distinct stages – Specification Stage and Development Stage.  

The Specification Stage, which is carried out on a time and materials basis, is considered critical for the development of a well-designed and efficient system that meets the business requirements.

The Development Stage, which is undertaken on a fixed price basis, translates the Specification into a bespoke software system. After installation, you undertake a 'User Acceptance' Test Period, after which the system moves into annual support (if you wish).
