Functional. Our approach is to place more emphasis on functionality than 'glitz'. Our software is more work-horse than show-horse. This means few graphical images, but good speed and keyboard-friendly screens. We appreciate that this does not suit everybody, but what we lose sometimes on initial marketing impact we think we gain in long term robustness and user-friendliness. |

Office-Focussed. We are focussed on the office, and on the day-to-day operations in that office. We have adopted a Microsoft Access / SQL Server platform, which delivers speed, robustness and user-friendliness. The Amber-JCS can also be accessed over the Internet (E.g. by another office, or by a staff member from home), but it is not browser-based. In cases where access should be restricted to staff only, the Microsoft platform has many advantages over the browser platform. We focus on the real needs of office staff, such as speed and robustness. |

Price. We have a low cost base, with a small sales force. Our software prices are therefore very competitive. |
